You may see third-party Chipotle nutrition pages displaying dates such as 2024, 2025 or 2026. A page's update date is not automatically the same as the publication date of its underlying nutrition source. To evaluate any number, check the specific restaurant document and portion definition it came from.
Which source do we use?
The Chipotle ingredient rows in PortionVerity are sourced from Chipotle's US paper nutrition guide, file named 3-2025. The PDF itself also includes a print-code marking, and the restaurant cautions that serving sizes and recipes can vary. We identify the source honestly rather than describing every entry as a newly released 2026 measurement.
Examples of covered published values
| Ingredient | Serving | Calories | Protein | Carbs | Sodium |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken | 4 oz | 180 | 32 g | 0 g | 310 mg |
| Steak | 4 oz | 150 | 21 g | 1 g | 330 mg |
| Cilantro-lime brown rice | 4 oz | 210 | 4 g | 36 g | 190 mg |
| Black beans | 4 oz | 130 | 8 g | 22 g | 210 mg |
| Fresh tomato salsa | 4 oz | 25 | 0 g | 4 g | 550 mg |
| Guacamole | 4 oz | 230 | 2 g | 8 g | 370 mg |
These values are useful for consistent arithmetic comparisons within that publication. They should not be read as confirmation that every location still uses the same portions and formulations on November 8, 2026.
What could change without a new-looking calculator?
A new protein, different seasoning, altered ingredient supply, menu variant, regional item or portion rule can affect the actual order. A third-party page that simply replaces “2025” with “2026” in its title has not necessarily checked the underlying data.
How to verify a number before relying on it
Open the official Chipotle nutrition calculator and compare your intended order. Also inspect the current allergen disclosures if any ingredients raise dietary concerns. The official calculator may feature products that the paper guide or our curated dataset does not include.
Why we keep the historical edition label
Source provenance is a feature. It makes errors easier to report and lets readers know when they should use the current restaurant tool instead. If an updated official ingredient table becomes available, we should update the stored values, write down what changed, rerun the tests and update the edition visible across the site. We should not silently imply verification that did not happen.
Read our methodology or use the ingredient builder for the supported source edition. This website is independent and does not claim endorsement from Chipotle.
