Nutrition facts and allergen disclosures answer different questions. A nutrition table may show calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein and sodium, while allergen information identifies ingredients and potential hazards. You cannot infer allergy safety from macro numbers, even if a meal appears to have zero grams of a particular nutrient.
What a nutrition calculator can tell you
If a guide lists the calories, carbohydrate, protein, fat and sodium of a standard serving, a calculator can add those values to model a customized order. That is helpful for comparing two ingredient combinations or understanding the approximate impact of an extra sauce.
What it cannot tell you
A calorie table does not establish shared preparation surfaces, supplier substitutions, ingredient cross-contact or the presence of a trace allergen. A “vegetarian protein” option also does not make a complete bowl vegan when cheese, sour cream or other dairy-containing toppings are selected.
Three practical questions before ordering
- Does the current ingredient list meet my dietary requirements? Use the restaurant's latest ingredient and allergen documentation rather than a third-party calorie total.
- Could preparation cause cross-contact? Ask restaurant staff using the chain's guidance. A third-party website cannot inspect the kitchen.
- Is my requirement medical? Follow the advice of a qualified clinician and the restaurant's direct disclosures instead of an internet filter.
About our vegetarian filter
Our goal finder can limit candidate main ingredients to certain meat-free choices. It does not evaluate supplier statements, processing, cross-contact or every topping's vegan status. That filter is a search convenience, not a certification or guarantee.
The right place to verify
Consult Chipotle's official allergen information and QDOBA's nutrition and allergen resources for up-to-date policies, or contact the restaurant directly. If you have a serious food allergy, rely on professional and restaurant-specific procedures, not a generalized meal calculator.
Our privacy-friendly builder and methodology are designed for nutrition comparisons, and we deliberately avoid allergy-safe badges. That limitation is part of the product's accuracy, not an omitted feature.
