QDOBA Impossible Plant-Based Bowl: Calories & Macros

Review QDOBA Impossible protein and vegetarian bowl combinations, including calories, protein, sodium and serving-size warnings.

QDOBA's Impossible plant-based option offers another way to construct a meat-free bowl, but a plant-based protein is not automatically low-calorie or low-sodium. It is particularly important to distinguish a published main-ingredient portion from the total for a customized bowl.

The published Impossible portion

The November 2026 QDOBA nutrition guide lists the plant-based Impossible ingredient at 170 calories, 13 g protein and 350 mg sodium per 3.1 oz. By comparison, standard black beans contribute 140 calories and 9 g protein per 4 oz. Both can be included in a calculated bowl, but they are different preparations and portion sizes.

These totals are sums of ingredient data, not evidence that the restaurant currently offers the exact combinations in all locations. Availability can vary, and seasonal items may come and go.

Vegetarian versus vegan versus allergy information

The words plant-based, vegetarian and vegan are not interchangeable. A bowl could contain a plant-based main but also include shredded cheese, sour cream or queso. Preparation and cross-contact questions are separate from nutrition facts. QDOBA provides its own nutrition and allergen hub; check that before ordering with a dietary restriction or food allergy.

How to customize responsibly

Use the QDOBA calculator, choose Impossible when available in the dataset, then add and remove ingredients deliberately. The site's vegetarian goal filter is a convenience feature; it does not validate the vegan status of all components or certify cross-contact safety.
